Dunking Confessions: I wish I was little bit taller…

What’s up everyone, dunking yet? Hope you guys and girls have been training and working hard to jump higher, I know I should be, but definitely haven’t lately. I think last time I measured my vert (last year) it was around maybe 23, 24 inches, something like that.  BUT, I’m 5′8″ on a good day, so I’ve been watching some Nate Rob vids for motivation.

I need to cop those Kryptonate shoes

We all gotta have a dream right? I need like 9 more inches to touch rim, so maybe 13-14 more to actually dunk. Impossible? Maybe, but I’m a pretty optimistic person. And of course, I have the Vertical Jump Bible on my side!

I bought the Vertical Jump Bible a while ago, but I never really followed through with the exercises, so this summer I’m definitely going to go through it, starting with week 1 at the beginning all the way to the end of break. The program’s put together great and the exercises that Kelly combines for each routine are always tough, but doable and helpful. I won’t be able to get 9 inches over the summer, but I think 4 could happen. The plyo’s aren’t a prob for me, I like em, but I gotta remember to his the weights. I just gotta get to that gym and do squats, leg presses, curls, bench, etc. every week then I can get a higher vertical jump for sure.

In the mean time, yall really should check out the Vertical Jump Bible. All you need to bring to the table is the discipline, Kelly Baggett (The Vertical Jump Bible creator) provides everything else. Check it here

NBA Thoughts, Ramblings, and a CoolPlyo/Calisthenics Workout Video

Dunk of the Week by K-Mart v. the Blazers:

The NBA Regular season’s finally over, and I’m pretty hyped for the postseason. With KG most likely out for the entire postseason, it seems like a Cavs - Lakers Finals matchup is gonna happen, but ya never know some team could get hot and knock one of em out Warriors-Mavs style (doubt it, but possible). One team I’m really liking is the Heat. People always talk about Kobe and Bron bron, but don’t forget about D Wade! He’s not as big as Lebron or has as much exp as Kobe, but he’s got that winning gene in him. I used to think he was pretty good til that double OT Bulls game where he took over last month. Then I realized he’s incredible. Scoring champ, great blocker for a 6′ 4″ guard, clutch, what more do you want? Plus they have Beasley and Chalmers who I still can’t believe fell to the 2nd round last year.

The Flash will thoroughly mess you up:

Random playoff team thought:

I hope Rasheed gives post game comments that compare to the ones given on this truly legendary night:

Not really related to anything at all, I just like that clip.

So who’s gonna win the finals? Lakers? Cavs? BULLS?! Only time will tell. All I know for sure is that I lost in the finals in my fantasy league this week 5-4. Even despite Howard and Wade not playing this week, I really still should’ve won, but Iguodala must secretly have beef with me because there’s no other explanation for having a 10 turnover game and me losing by 4 in TOs.

Well I guess that’s all for now, I’ll leave yall with a nice little clip of a cool guy’s entire workout routine accompanied by some interesting asian rap (Korean maybe?). Check out the info on the actual Youtube page for the entire written workout.

Thanks for sticking around for prolly my longest post ever,

A-Mac out
